'Our Mission Involves Exclusively Executing' - How The Sudanese Brutal Fighting Force Perpetrated a Mass Killing

Combatants smirk as they travel on the bed of a utility vehicle, hurrying by a row of multiple dead bodies and moving towards the setting Sudanese evening sky.

"Observe all this effort. See this instance of genocide," a combatant exclaims.

The fighter grins as he turns the video equipment on his own face and his companion combatants, their paramilitary identification on display: "These people shall all be killed in this manner."

The men are rejoicing over a massacre that relief organizations fear killed in excess of 2,000 people in the Sudanese metropolis of the Darfur city last month.

A City Isolated from the Globe

Following their control of the urban area under blockade for nearly 24 months, from the summer the militia moved to strengthen its position and prevent access for the remaining residents.

Space-based imagery reveal that troops commenced to build a massive sand wall - a raised dirt embankment - encircling the perimeter of al-Fashir, sealing off access routes and halting relief supplies.

While the blockade intensified, multiple people were murdered in an RSF strike on a religious building on 19 September, while the international organization said 53 more were killed in unmanned aircraft and heavy weapon attacks on a displacement camp in October.

Explicit Recording Depicts Weaponless Civilians Executed

At dawn on 26 October the RSF conquered the last government strongholds and seized the central base in the urban area, the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division, as the army retreated.

Among the most graphic footage to emerge and examined showed the aftermath of a mass killing at a campus structure on the west of the community, where dozens corpses were observed strewn throughout the area.

An elderly person clad in a robe remained by himself surrounded by the corpses. He turned to glance as a militiaman armed with a firearm proceeded down the staircase in the direction of him. pointing his rifle, the gunman released a one shot at the man, who collapsed to the ground still.

"How come is this person yet breathing," another combatant shouted. "Kill him."

Orbital photography recorded on October 26th seemed to verify that shootings were also carried out on the thoroughfares of al-Fashir, based on a analysis published by the university analysis team.

One eyewitness who provided testimony reported they had seen "multiple of our kin getting killed - they were gathered in a specific area and all murdered."

RSF Commanders Attempt to Implement Public Relations

Following the events that followed the atrocity, RSF chief conceded that his fighters had committed "violations" and announced the occurrences would be examined.

Part of the arrested was following a report recording his killings. Deliberately choreographed and produced video shared on the paramilitary's formal Telegram platform reveal the individual being taken into a cell at a detention facility on the edges of the city.

Simultaneously, the militia and connected social media accounts started attempting to alter the story.

Content showing its combatants distributing supplies to civilians were shared by several individuals, while the paramilitary's communications team published several clips allegedly to display the proper handling of government prisoners of war.

Regardless of the social media campaign being deployed by the paramilitary, their activities in the city have provoked worldwide anger.
