The Congressional oversight panel has released a set of around 70 photos secured from the holdings of deceased adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
This marks the latest in a series of release from a cache of in excess of 95,000 images the panel has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes pictures of excerpts from the book Lolita written across a woman's body, and redacted photos of female overseas passports.
This disclosure occurs just hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to disclose all records related to its inquiry into Epstein.
"These latest photographs pose further queries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its holdings," remarked the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.
A number of the photos published on this week depict Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing beside a female whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation opposite Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest affluent, prominent individuals to be seen in Epstein property images released by the oversight panel - earlier released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.
Being pictured in the images is is not considered evidence of any illegal activity, and a number of the pictured figures have stated they were in no way participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.
In a announcement issued alongside the image release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not supply explanatory details or dates for the photographs.
"Images were chosen to provide the general populace with transparency into a representative sample of the images obtained from the holdings, and to give perspectives into Epstein's network and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the announcement reads.

The publication also includes multiple photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in black ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and back. Lolita narrates the story of a young girl who was exploited by a adult literature professor.
An example of a excerpt from the work inscribed across a female's chest reads, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".
Additionally, there are a series of photographs of women's travel documents and official papers from states worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the details on the IDs, like names and dates of birth, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a statement that the travel documents belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".
A further image features Epstein seated at a table closely surrounded by three women whose features have been redacted - a first has her palm on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and another individual is crouching to view a nearby laptop. Epstein appears to be helping the final person attach a wristband.

A further photo disclosed is a capture of digital messages from an unnamed sender who says they have been sent "some girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".
The body has many thousands of images in its possession from the Epstein estate, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its announcement on this week explained.
The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of human trafficking, in August.
The photographs and documents the Epstein property submitted to the committee are different than what is commonly termed "Epstein-related records". Those files are documents under the justice department's control connected to its separate probe into Epstein.
Pursuant to the Transparency Act, which the President enacted last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its records. The full nature of the contents found in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's expected that much of the material will be heavily redacted, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
